An update on Zane's BIG INTERVIEW....
I guess he didn't have what the Sheriff was looking for.
Zane was a little bummed because instead of offering the job
to a deputy that dresses crisp and in full uniform,
the job was offered to someone who wears house slippers,
instead of dress boots
and the guy with the bad attitude about everything.
Oh well, there is always next time.
Good job Babe!
We are SOOOOO incredibly proud of you!
And the Sheriff doesn't know what he is missing
by not offering you the job.
On a side note, Zane told me he is checking
Washington and Iron County job board every couple of days.
WAHOO!!!!
Maybe we will be back down in St. George
before too long.
He is looking at jobs for Purgatory or road patrol.

Aw, man, I'm sorry guys!! Sounds to me like it was one of those "who you know" kind of situations. Zane probably didn't have a chance. LAME. Something better will be along!!!
Thank you Megan! That's kind of the opinion I have gotten from it. this is the 2nd time he has applied for Sgt and it was the same way the first time around. It gave him some really good interview experience, which one can always use that experience.
dang...that sinks. So sorry. I am sure he will get the next one...and it will be better. Hang in there.
