One Little Girl. One BIG Imagination

It's still really hard for me to believe how smart Paizlei is and the imagination she has, after having such a rough start to her tiny life.  When I took her in to her 24 month well baby almost 6 months ago, our doctor said she is smarter than most kids her age, and talking better than most kids her age.  After seeing her BIG imagination working a last Sunday night, I am reminded she isn't that little preemie she once was.

She did this all by her tiny little self!  She wouldn't go to bed one night until she saw her Daddy.  Daddy was working late that night and didn't get home until after 10pm.  As he was changing out of his uniform, Paizlei made her way to our bedroom, made this bed out of newspaper, grabbed one of the blankets I keep in my bedroom and was pretending to be asleep on it when Daddy came out of the bathroom.  She even gave herself an extra fold of newspapers for a pillow.  I had to tell him to be careful when he came out so he didn't step on her.  Such a funny AND imaginative little lady we have!
