A First Time For Everything
Since Hunter started school back in August, I have been trying to taper him off from having his daytime naps. I still think he needs his naps, but with his medication, has has a really hard time falling asleep at night if he has a nap during the day. He does really good with not having one, except on school days. One afternoon last week, he was having his afternoon snack of cereal and milk, his choice, he never went back to clean up the game he was playing with. I had stepped out of the kitchen for a few minutes, was talking to him, asking him to please go in the office and clean up his game. After no response, I went to check on him. He had pushed his bowl of milk away from him, laid his cute little head on his hand and fell asleep at the kitchen table. So, why the title of this post? Because the only place her will EVER, EVER fall asleep, is in his bed. When we go somewhere overnight (which we usually don't), he has the hardest time going to sleep. He does nothing but fight sleep and fight Zane and I (or who ever is trying to get him to sleep). I was absolutely shocked when I found him asleep at the table. He was so gone!!! He didn't even budge when I picked him up and carried him to his room. Since I found him sleeping at the table, I have found him asleep in other places.
