Santa doesn't wrap any presents at our house. However, we do have a few presents from Mom & Dad under the tree for the kids to open.
See, Paizlei went straight for the food/candy! Typical of her. Don't you just LOVE Hunter's stare? He stood there for, what seemed like 5 minutes. It was so funny.
Hunter and his present from Mom and Dad. He got his Handy Manny toy he has been bugging us for, for months now. Every time we would go into WalMart, instead of wanting to go look at the trucks and tractors, which is the norm, he wanted to go look at Handy Manny. He was SOOOO excited when he opened it and saw that it was his Handy Manny! The look on his face was priceless.
Don't you love Paizlei's hat? She had to wear that hat the whole time she was opening her presents. Silly girl. Mom and Dad gave her Disney's Cinderella horse and carriage, with Gus Gus and I can't remember the other mouse...but, it is so cute! She LOVES it! And, she got some "pretties", as she likes to call any jewelry. She LOVES her "pretties" and doesn't want to take them off for anything.
Zane's Mom found this vest that was Zane's when he was a little boy, and gave it to Zane for Christmas, along with his old baseball glove and baseball. Zane wanted to try it on Hunter to see if it would fit. It was perfect. Then we had to have him try it on with his new cowboy boots. He was so cute! And, he absolutely LOVES his new cowboy boots, as you can tell by the picture of him showing them to you!!!!
Paizlei got another baby doll and baby doll stroller, and a stick horse from Zane's Sergeant. She was hilarious riding the stick horse. She knew exactly what to do and exactly what the horse says.

We had a fun-filled day. Our kids got spoiled. Zane got some clippers and some electric boot warmers. I got a sewing machine and a new jacket.
We are very blessed to have such wonderful families to come and spend the day with us. Zane's Mom and step-Dad came for breakfast. My Mom and Dad, sister Ginger, brother Mike, my two nephews Wyatt and Kyler, came for lunch. Zane's Dad and step-Mom came for dinner. We also had our cute old neighbor lady come over on Christmas morning to bring us some cookies and to introduce herself to us.
Now that it's all done and over with, Christmas tree out, decorations taken down (and organized A LOT better this year) and put away, house cleaned, it makes me sad that such a wonderful time of year only comes around once. I am so grateful to have the knowledge of why we celebrate Christmas and am able to teach my kids the reason for celebrating. Throughout the day on Christmas, Hunter kept telling me it was Jesus' birthday and that's why we celebrate Christmas. It brought a tear to my eye every time he said it. He is so innocent, sweet and loving, so humble.
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!!!!

That is what it is all about!! They made out pretty good from Santa!!! Have a happy New Year!!!
Darbi got that exact baby doll and *almost* exact stroller from Santa too! Usually the baby doll gets tossed and the stroller is pushed around empty through the house non-stop! Happy New Year!! And good for you on the Diet Coke! I hope it's still going well for you!
Audrey, that is so funny! I have seen the exact baby doll in a lot of my friends Christmas posts. Santa must shop at the same place! ;) And yes, the doll gets thrown out of the stroller as well, usually by Hunter, though. Paizlei will go right behind him and load it with books, or her Disney Princesses when he isn't watching and run off with it. It's quite hilarious! I hope you guys had a Happy New Year, as well!!! As for the DC, thank you! It's been a little over a month since I have had one. I didn't think it was going to be as easy as it was to get off of it.
