PS...I am all about childhood literacy, so we keep a "Basket of Books" in every room in my house. The more we read to our children, the more they will want to read. Hunter actually has several books we have read to him memorized. He knows when to turn the pages...it's the one of the many cute and adorable things my Hunter does. If anyone who reads this is ever interested in learning more about childhood literacy and what YOU can do to help your child, let me know. I have some good training in childhood literacy, as well as being an Usborne Books and More consultant.

The Story of my Mid-Night Bookworm
This is such a cute little story of a certain little boy we call Hunter. One night several weeks ago, he woke up in the middle of the night and decided he needed to read a book. He came quietly in my bedroom, grabbed my touch lamp on my nightstand, put the cord under my door and pulled the lamp out into the hall. He went into the living room, one of the rooms where I keep a "Basket of Books" for my kids, picks out a couple of books, then quietly goes back to the hall, lays down on his tummy, turns the lamp on and proceeds to read his stories. I roll over in my bed, and notice there is a light on in the hall, and get up to find this absolutely ADORABLE scene my sweet little Hunter created all on his own.
Hunter was so proud of himself for being so quiet and not waking me or his Daddy up. I was proud of my sweet Hunter for creating such a cute moment and being so proud of himself and for reading books.
