His Trains

To say Hunter is fascinated with trains, is putting it mild!  He ABSOLUTELY LOVES TRAINS!!!  We have Chuggington and Thomas the Train set on our DVR every day.  When he is playing downstairs, he is usually playing with his trains or his Cars cars.  Yesterday, as I was preparing dinner, he came upstairs super excited wanting to show me what he had made.  I wasn't surprised that he had been playing with his trains, but I was surprised to see what he had made...ALL BY HIMSELF!!!

I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!  When he builds his tracks, he usually doesn't connect them to make a complete track...this one he did!!!  He was beaming, he was so excited and proud of himself for building such a huge track!  I praised him and praised him...and praised him some more for what he had built.  At one point, I told him he did "such a great job and made such an amazing and super big track...I'm proud of you, Hunter!!!", and he responded, "yeah, I know Mom!  It BIG, huh?"!

I always knew he was smart, but I am pretty sure I have a genius for a son...and couldn't be more proud!!!

Good job, Hunter!!!  You made Daddy and I very proud!!!  Love you!
