Beck Family Farms Pumpkin Patch

I am so in love with fall weather.  I love Indian summer, the warm, the cold, the changing of the leaves, the beautiful colors, pumpkins, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pie, Halloween, and everything that goes with Halloween!  I have even been working with Hunter and Paizlei on learning to say pumpkin and "trick or treat"!  More so with Paizlei, but we have to work on it a little with Hunter as well because of his speech delay.  Paizlei says pumpkin so cute!  It sounds something like "punkine"...and with her adorable high-pitched little girl voice, it's even cuter!  Speaking of Halloween and pumpkins, Centerfield's own Beck Family Farms has a pumpkin patch in a field behind their house.  Last Saturday, we took the kids out there to pick out their pumpkins.  They had an absolute blast!!!!  When we pulled up to the farm, they have 2 one ton round bales of hay (it might actually be straw, couldn't tell) painted orange with a face painted on the front.  So cute and so creative!!!  Paizlei thought it was so neat, she kept saying "see da punkine!  See da punkine!"  Hunter wanted to go climb on top of them.  I guess he thought they were neat too...in a climbing kind of way!!!  That's my boy for ya!

You want the best pick of pumpkins?  Go to Beck's...they have every breed of pumpkin you could ever imagine!  They lease out farm fields from local farmers and fill them with pumpkins each year.  One really cool thing...well we think it's kind of cool...they have supplied the WalMart in Ephraim and Richfield with their pumpkins...who knows what other WalMart's have Beck Family Farm pumpkins.
