This year is especially bitter sweet with Kyle being deployed and aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. He leaves behind his wife, 4 year old daughter, 7 month old daughter and a goofy dog. I keep thinking about all the things he is missing with his girls, all in an effort to protect our freedom. Before he left, Hunter and I were organizing my photo's and we came across pictures of Kyle and Troy from when they were in boot camp. Hunter took them from me, studied them very closely, then looked at me and said, "Mommy, we pray for these!". Every morning and night, Hunter reminds me we need to pray for Kyle and Troy. What a sweet little boy I have to even know that they are in harms way every day, that they need extra prayers. Hunter may not know his uncles in person because they live too far away (Kyle was in NV and got orders to WA when he returns from the ship, and Troy is in FL), but he knows enough to keep them in his prayers daily.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! For your service! For protecting our freedoms! For protecting our liberties! For the sacrifices you make daily! For your dedication to this wonderful country we live in! Love you, Dad, Kyle and Troy!!! You guys ARE MY HERO'S!!!!
My Dad...in Vietnam...I love you, Dad!!!
Troy and Kyle...this picture was taken at my wedding 5 years ago. They were such good sports to dress in uniform for my day!!! Don't they look so handsome in uniform?
