30 Day Challenge - Day 7, 8 and 9

Day 7 - A picture of someone or something that has the biggest impact on me.
This one is really easy and very obvious.  My sweet and amazing husband and my two adorable kids have the BIGGEST impact on me.  I live every single day for them.

Day 8 - My short-term goals for this month and why they are my goals.
My goals?  I have LOTS of short-term goals.
   1.  To keep up with my laundry.  Lately I have been really lax with it.  Before I know it, everyone is out of clothes, the kids are out of underpants and socks.  I have been trying to do my normal 3 loads a day to keep up.
   2.  Trying to be more patient with my kids.
   3.  Get our family pictures done and Christmas cards ordered before Thanksgiving.  This one is a really difficult one.  I really want to do some fun outdoor pictures up in the mountains...as high as we can get...but the way the weather has been working, all the good weather days are when Zane works.  Since he works 12 hour shifts from 7am-7pm, we can't find a happy medium day to do it.  Hopefully between Sunday and Wednesday of next week, we can get them done.

Day 9 - Something I am proud of the last few days.
Well, I am always proud of my kids and the new things they learn and do each day.  I think that with November being Prematurity Awareness Month, I am very proud of my little preemie and miracle, Paizlei.  She has surpassed every single thing the doctors said she would struggle with.  She is so incredibly smart.  She speaks so clear and in sentences.  She understands directions and follows through with what you ask her to do.  She is in the 75% for both her height and weight.  She truly is a miracle.  And, I am very proud that she is catching on to potty training so fast.  My goal of having her potty trained before her birthday, may actually be reality.
I am also very proud of my Hunter and all the struggles he goes through on a daily basis.  I talked with his teacher the other day, and she told me he has surpassed or met all of the goals on his IEP from last year.  His speech has blossomed so much from when school let out last May to today.  Most everyone can understand what he is saying and what he wants.  He knows his colors, shapes (with octagon being his favorite shape!), he is completely potty trained and knows to wash his hands when he is done in the bathroom and before we eat.  He knows his full name, and every member of his immediate family (me, Zane and Paizlei), he knows what numbers to dial in case of an emergency.  He is one smart cookie.
Needless to say, my kids make me very proud daily.
