Raindrops Keep Falling...

On July 5th, Utah FINALLY got some MUCH NEEDED rain!!!  Salt Lake City hadn't received any rain in 36 days.  I read on a friends Facebook status that it had been longer than that, that Sanpete County had received measurable rainfall.  So, when we woke up on Thursday morning and saw that it was raining, we were thrilled!!!

Hunter and Paizlei wanted to go outside and play in it.  Driving past my house, you would have thought it was winter and snowing outside, because my sweet Hunter was out there playing in the rain, sporting his heavy winter coat...but then he had shorts and flip-flops on too.

 Oh Paizlei, how I LOVE your personality...and this photo!!!  She opened the door and yelled inside and asked me to come to the door.  I grabbed my camera, because I KNEW she would be soakin' wet.  When I opened the door, she lifted her hands in the air to catch the rain, tipped her head back, and yelled, "The rain is falling out of the sky, Momma!".  Perfect moment!

 We went for a ride that morning, something we do every morning, because I HATE being cooped up at home all day.  We went in search for the perfect puddle of water.  We drove behind the high school, back to the baseball fields and found this AWESOME puddle!  Hunter & Paizlei LOVED it!
