A couple weeks ago, Zane, I and the kids took a fun little afternoon trip up to Deep Lake, up 12 Mile Canyon. It is absolutely beautiful up there! It's quite the drive to get into Deep Lake, but once you are there, it is so quiet...it's really "deep" into the canyon. In a few years, the only way you are going to be able to get in, is on a 4-wheeler...yeah, that's how bad the road is. Here are some pictures from our trip.
We took the stuff to make tin foil dinners.
They were a HUGE hit with Hunter!
Paizlei LOVED all the wild flowers!
I couldn't keep her away from them.
Next thing I know, she climbed into the flowers to play!
So funny!
Hunter was having the time of his life throwing
rocks or wood in the lake, or playing in the water.
Right after he threw a piece of wood in the lake.
The things that entertain a little child!
Hunter was so cute, he would cast his pole out,
then reel it back in and say,
"Look Momma, I caught a fishy!".
Paizlei was so funny the one time Zane did catch a fish,
she couldn't get enough of it!
She wanted to touch it, hold it.
Shenreally wanted to lick it, but I wouldn't let her.
The beautiful sunset at Deep Lake! LOVE this picture!
