A Marathon

. . . A packing marathon that is.

We are finally moving off the darn highway! Since we moved back from St. George, we have been living in a family friends mothers house. Well, the mother passed away a few months ago and they want to sell the house. They are giving us until June to move out. I took it upon myself to start looking, for a couple of reason. 1) The house is so old, we don't have doors on 2 of the bedrooms and with Zane working nights and sleeping during the day, it's impossible to keep the kids quiet enough so he is able to get enough sleep. 2) We are right on the highway in Gunnison. We may be in the 45mph zone, but we are still on the highway none the less. For those of you who are not familiar with Gunnison, the highway is a main artery for traffic between 1-15 in Nephi and 1-70 in Salina. Plus, because of the Sufco Coal Mine up Salina Canyon, we have a steady influx of coal trucks going north taking coal to Levan and Kennecot, among other places, some over by Delta, Carlin, NV, Pilots Peak. Anyway, with two active kids, I really don't want to be chasing them this summer trying to keep both of them in the back yard and away from the highway. SOOOO, I found us a place here in Gunnison, within a mile or so of where we currently live, still in the same ward, and 2 blocks off the highway. I am sooooo very excited.

Our new old house is a 3 bedroom 1 bath, two level home. It has a HUGE living room that is WAY bigger than the one I have now (I didn't think that was possible), the kitchen is pretty small and very dated, but it will work great for our little family. The mast bedroom is twice the size of our master bedroom we are in now (again, I didn't think that was possible because the one we are in is HUGE). Hunter's room is going to be perfect. Lots of storage room to put all of his many toys away. Paizlei's room is the same, lots of storage room to put all of her many toys away. No more storing kids toys in the living room or the hall or where ever we can get them to fit. I will post some pictures once we are all moved and settled, hopefully in a week or two.
