Hunter in the issolette. About 12 hours old. About 30 minutes after they put the IV in (more on that below).

I can't believe my little guy is already 3 years old. I have been thinking about it all day and it just doesn't feel like he should be 3 years old. Going back to that moment of meeting your very first child, I always heard people say how amazing it is to fall in love with your baby the instant you see them, the instant you hear them cry. I remember thinking, oh, how can that be, you don't know him. Well, 3 years ago, at 7:43pm, I learned first hand how very true that statement is. I didn't know such love existed. I remember finally hearing his sweet little cry and I couldn't help but cry. Even after a rough start for my little Hunter (he was retracting in his breathing and had fluid in his lungs so they put an IV in him and started antibiotics as a precaution), he continues to grow and amaze me daily. The joy Hunter brings to our family is unmeasurable. He is more than a handful, but I wouldn't trade him for the world. Hunter is the sweetest little boy!

Here are a few statistics of Hunter:

-Hunter LOVES his little sister and will usually share with her.

-Hunter LOVES trains, especially Thomas the Train.

-He LOVES tractors and cars.

-He is a great eater, but his favorite meal is spaghetti.

-His favorite fruits are mandarin oranges and banana's.

-His favorite vegetables are green beans, peas, anything in a salad and corn.

-He loves animals and loves going to all of his grandparents because they all have animals..from dogs to cows, pigs, horses and chickens. And he LOVES to help do the chores with the animals.

He loves to work outside with his dad.

He really likes to ride his new bicycle with training wheels.

He likes to read story books.

He loves to help mommy in the kitchen, whether it's with the dishes or help with the cooking.

At birth: 6 lbs. 3 oz. 19 in. long

At 3 years old: 38 lbs. (96%) 39 in. tall (90 %)
