December 17, 2008 was a very BIG day for Paizlei, however, today, January 8, 2009 is another BIG day for Paizlei! We are so excited that today is the day she gets to come home! The doctors and nurses are totally amazed at how well she has done! They cannot believe that she is going home at 36 weeks post-gestation and only 3 weeks old! When she came out, she was kicking and screaming and the delivering doctor said she was going to be a fighter! Well, she has proven the doctor right! She is quite a fighter! Paizlei now weighs 5 lbs. 5 oz. She is still only 17 in. but is eating up a storm! She pulled the feeding tube out yesterday and they left it out because she is such a good eater!
I promise once I get home and get settled, I will post pictures of Paizlei!

YAY!!! We've been waiting to hear the news since you sent us a text the other day saying that Paizlei may get to go home soon. We just didn't want to bug you just in case it had already happened and you were trying to get settled. We can't wait to see new pictures too. Paizlei was such a cutie in the last photo we saw of her. Hopefully, we'll get to meet her sooner rather than later!
Wow Heather! That is such amazing news! My oldest son was born at 34 weeks, so I can understand your excitement! Good luck with the craziness that comes of being a Mom of 2!
