I have never been one to really go all out on Valentine's Day. I personally think it's over-rated. I think its' more important to show "love" to those around you every day. With that being said, we didn't go all out for Valentine's Day. I wanted to get something fun for the kids just to say we got them something. Later that afternoon, the kids and I made my Aunt Rita's AMAZING sour cream sugar cookies! Seriously, the best!!! Hunter and Paizlei LOVE LOVE LOVE to do anything in the kitchen, so making sugar cookies was right up their alley. I had a mess of flour, cookie cutters and dough all over my kitchen, but seeing the joy in their eyes and the looks on their faces, the mess is completely worth it.
