Unseasonably Warm

This winter in Utah has been VERY unseasonably warm, which leads us to do activities that are not normal for January weather.  On January 10th, Hunter and Paizlei were itching to go swimming at the Manti pool.  It was a little difficult explaining to them that the Manti pool isn't open in the winter because it is an outdoor swimming pool, and that it isn't warm enough yet.

For Hunter's birthday, he got some sidewalk paint, paint brushes and sidewalk chalk.  To take their minds off of going swimming, I decided we would do a different warm weather activity.  I dumped the paint in the paint pan that was provided with the sidewalk paint, gave each of them some brushes and let them have some fun.

Here are a few photos of Hunter and Paizlei utilizing their artistic abilities.

LOVE the sunburst in this photo!!!

He said the sidewalk was too cold he couldn't sit down.

She didn't understand the whole concept of getting paint back on your brush when there was no more paint.

They both got into the whole painting thing!  They LOVED IT!!!
