Quieting Rumors

Before another acquaintance or friend sees me in public, I probably better put the rumors to rest.  Yes, I am pregnant!!!  I can't hide it any more.  My tummy is already poking out...not too sure what I think about that, because with Hunter and Paizlei, I didn't show until I was at least 20-25 weeks.  I am just shy of 11 weeks and already showing.

So, back to the rumors, yes, I did have a miscarriage.  I had to go in and have a d&c.  I had my miscarriage on August 8, 2011.  I followed my doctors instructions on when to try again.  He mentioned that after a miscarriage, it usually doesn't take very long to get pregnant again.  He couldn't have been more right.

About 2 weeks ago, I had an ultrasound to make sure everything is okay.  So far, the little "peanut" looks great!  It was the 2nd ultrasound in this pregnancy.  The first one didn't even show a fetal pole.  I was elated when the US tech said, "there is your little one...and there is it's heartbeat!".  A rush of emotions overcame me.  I was so excited to see something there.  Even better than seeing something on the ultrasound, was hearing little "peanut's" heartbeat!  It was beating at a strong 176 bpm.

This pregnancy hasn't been any different from Hunter or Paizlei's pregnancy...I have been dealing with headaches, some horrible morning sickness, extremely tired, no energy, everything aches, extreme emotions...to name a few.  I have been able to keep the morning sickness, for the most part, at bay.  Thanks to the help of my new BFF, Zofran.  If it wasn't for Zofran, I know I would have been hospitalized several times already.  It seems to be letting up, which I am so grateful for.  Hopefully the other things will start to let up a little bit too, especially the extreme tiredness.  I can go to sleep without any trouble.  I was never this tired with either Hunter or Paizlei.

I am due on June 15, 2012...it's a pretty awesome day, because it's my oldest nephews birthday!  Preston, this one's for you!!!
